Bread but no butter is the saying today as the C~Nation Dream Team took on the Hero's out of Hart County. . Back and fourth this game went if you was not able to see the action live like I enjoyed doing, listening to the roar of the crowd when Mike Wells gunned a 3 to put the Nation up 2 with .24 seconds left in the game. Or how the crowd erupted when the referees called a goaltending, AND a foul sending #HCH too the line with the game even at 76 late in the 4th. What really was a shocker was C.Miller sitting the rest of the game after picking up his 3rd foul with a whole 3:00 left in the game.. "That's what everybody expected was for me to put Miller back in. Miller pulled us out of the slum countless numbers of time throughout the game. . Somebody had to step up, and they did" -Coach Williams stated after the game to IDP reporters. C.Miller dropped his career high already before the season starts beating his old career high record set 3 years ago against Audubon (28 pts) before sitting out with a Technical foul. Miller finished with 8 assists, and 5 rebounds raising his 3pt FG% to 40.
M.Wells moved to Point Guard, Manny Reeves to SG still having Johnson, and Jamison to help in the post. .24 seconds on the clock Johnson was blocked and recovered by #HCH who later called a timeout with .14 left. Inbounded and later rushed for a 3 that rimmed in and out recovered by Johnson ending the game 80-78 moving the Nation too 2-0 for the pre-season.
M.Wells went on to finished with just 13 pts, 5 rebs, 3 asts..
M.Reeves finished with 11 pts, 8 asts, and 3 rebs..
A.Jamison finished with 15 pts, 2 asts, 7 rebs...
